Community eruv (Rabbinical Council of the Eruv of Hampstead, N.D.G.) covers Côte-Saint-Luc, Hampstead, Montreal West, NDG, Snowdon, De Vimy and Outremont; two Décarie Blvd areas were added on 25 Jul 2026, and a small area south of Sherbrooke St is still out. Downtown and Westmount are not listed as covered. An earlier read of eruvmontreal.org (undated) was cited here as saying the entire Westbury Development, including the Hilton Garden Inn, is outside the eruv and that the east edge stops at Légaré (Jewish General Hospital excluded) during construction. That could not be re-verified on 2 Nov 2026: eruvmontreal.org's root now redirects to an unrelated website, and the live status page (eruvstat.us/montreal) does not mention Westbury, Légaré, the Jewish General Hospital or a hotline. Treat the Westbury exclusion as unconfirmed, not as fact, and whether the Décarie hotels (6785, 6787, 6939) sit inside the Westbury Development is also unknown: ask the Eruv Montreal hotline 514-418-6892 (number from the earlier page, unconfirmed) or Rabbi Eytan Jacob via eruvstat.us/montreal before carrying.
